You should start receiving emails at your *.*@FAA.GOV email this week.

Some have already received their emails. Others will get them soon.

It will detail the days that you are eligible to be paid,

or Not Paid and reason.

If you disagree, IMMEDIATELY follow the procedure detailed in your email,

or contact your Rep for assistance.

While some may be disappointed that it took so long to pay these claims,

they ARE being paid.

PASS has fought for you to be paid, after the Agency forced people to take days off,

against their will and the Contract, for years.

This is a big win, on your behalf, by YOUR union.

This settlement finally put this practice to rest, and ensured all those affected, ( who responded in a timely manner), will receive back pay.

They will receive it at the rate they were making when this settlement was initially agreed to in 2011.

This is when the practice was halted by PASS settlement with the Agency.

SO, for those of you complaining that you haven’t been paid yet, I call shenanigans.

As soon as we achieved a settlement, all affected employees were getting paid to work their in lieu of holidays (if that was their choice).

This means you have been getting paid for in lieu of holidays Since 2011 through today as you should.

Now you will receive back pay for the prior years, at a rate higher than what you would have gotten,

had you originally been able to work those days.

Please make sure to send your thanks to Allyn Van Vechten, as she has shepherded your numerous claims to fruition,

overcoming all obstacles the Agency placed in front of her.

Remember to share this news with your coworkers and remind them that we can achieve even more with higher member participation.

Use this win to sign up a new member TODAY.

In Solidarity,
