The next year will be a busy time for all of us.

It is more important than ever to encourage everyone to join and have their voice heard when it comes to contract issues.

Right now watch schedules are going to be negotiated and this is one of the most important reasons to belong to PASS.

When bargaining proposals such as watch schedules are developed, it is an internal bargaining proposal.

That means we are only required to solicit input from members.

Recently negotiated PASS MOAs allow for the option of 50/30 split pay period AWS option.

If you have items that are of concern, in regards to the upcoming contract, you need to be a member to have your voice heard.

Contract survey will be available on the members only section of the PASS website.

If you want to have input, you have to be a current dues paying member,

By the way, Privitization is NOT going away. It has a temporary reprieve but only until September of 2017 ( Less than a year away).

PASS National Convention will be in New Orleans, LA next July.

We would like to take as many representatives from MI1 as possible. We should have funds available to take at least four members.

Selection will be based on participation including attending Chapter Meetings, Being a PASS Rep, etc.

We need you to be active in YOUR union and we are here to assist in any way that we can.
