From PASS Chapter MI1, Sean Henderson and Tim Mach, marched in the Detroit Labor Day Parade.

We joined with Union brothers and sisters and their families from around the state of Michigan to show Solidarity for Labor.

We all have different issues to deal with but we all share the same interest.

We assembled on Michigan Avenue near Trumbull, where the old tiger Stadium used to stand, in Detroit’s Corktown.

We marched with Building trades, teachers, autoworkers, firefighters, police, postal workers and other unions.

Happy Labor Day!

Last week, PASS and the FAA signed a settlement agreement regarding the national grievance over the agency’s new policy that requires employees who are Purchase Card Holders (PCH) with a single transaction limit of over $2,500 to file a Confidential Financial Disclosure form (OGE-450).

Well attended Chapter MI1 meeting.
Thank you to all who attended.
Special thanks to our guests Jeff Planty, CSA Director, Luke Drake Region 1 RVP, Mark Dunlap, and Bob Scarbrough, CLE DM.
It was a lively and informative meeting.
Discussed sequestration effects, staffing, PASS Convention, safety, legislative , and organizing concerns.

PASS’s grievance over the way in which the FAA suspended the furlough is still active.  At the FAA’s request, PASS agreed to hold the grievance in abeyance while the agency seeks authorization from officials outside the FAA, i.e. Department of Transportation, to reach a mutually agreeable resolution. Please check the PASS News Now for updates as new information is received.
